Floating Point presents “Duplicated” composed of experimental works across a series of NFTs and digital sculptures. Duplicated reveals the unprecedented gaps that emerge in the digital systems that humans build, and in the environments that surround them.

“Duplicated” introduces the inaugural exhibition of Canadian artist Antoine Lortie at Floating Point Gallery. The exhibition invites visitors to step inside the virtual reality application Art Gate VR. In this virtual environment, Antoine Lortie presents experimental works across three series of NFTs and digital wearables called “FuturPunk”, “Administrator” and “Conspirator”. Using Blender and MagicaVoxel, to create intriguing and critical objects, Antoine Lortie explores the tensions between digital technologies’ capacity to destroy and preserve the current state of the art world. Floating Point Gallery and Antoine Lortie rethink the ways in which we use digital art. Challenging our perceptions and inventing new possibilities. New stories are waiting to be told to redefine the concept of art. The NFTs and digital wearables will be available on OpenSea and Cryptovoxel marketplaces, from the 31st of March at 6:00 pm.
